On Sunday 14th December all our youth departments came together to produce a Nativity scene with a modern twist. Television News presenters reported (by means of our new large screen) the traditional Christmas Story as it happened from the annunciation of Mary through to the arrival of the Three Kings at the Stable, with the scenes being enacted inbetween. The congregation joined in with singing appropriate carols and Jamie Lee from "Action for Children" amazed us all by saying that Temple Church under the leadership of Sue Bond is the biggest supporter of their work in the whole of Devon.
He thanked the children for all the toys and gifts that they had brought to this service, saying that he would be delivering these to local families who might otherwise not receive any presents this Christmas.
The following photographs, taken by one of the fathers (Chris Price), show the children taking part.
