ADVENTURE GROUP

Who we are and what we do.

We are a group of young people between 4 and 14 who meet on Sunday mornings and for activities during the week.  We’re always ready to welcome other young people to join us.

Saturday morning:  All members meet on the last Saturday of each month from 10.30am until 12 noon for Adventure Group activities. 

Fund-raising – Pet Blessing Service - see picture below (Battersea Dogs/Cats Home, and RSPCA), Boycott Your Beds, and Late Night Shopping event for Action for Children.   A Variety Show took place on Saturday 24th February 2024 - a full report and pictures can be found in the Easter 2024 edition of Temple Link.

Extra activities:  These include “letter-boxing” on Dartmoor, day out at Pennywell Farm, clip-n-climb, going to pantomime, Forest Church - see picture below, day at Bicton Park. etc. 

SHARING in WORSHIP.   The young people enjoy this by introducing and welcoming the congregation to Family Services, doing Bible readings, dramas, making videos for use in worship, having a display of themed creative work in the Prayer Corner, etc.
